Why do all the children die
Why do all the children cry
Why are rivers turning red
What's a cause worth when you're dead
What's the thirst for power for
How can one be evil's whore
What's the price of living free
Rules made by one we can't see
Children, die
Children, cry
Ain't no war, just lies
Follow me silently
Final peace denied
When will our blood be suffice
When will your heart melt to ice
How long will we stand forsaken
While our futile lives are taken
What's the thirst for power for
How can one be evil's whore
What's the price of living free
Rules made by one we can't see
Children, die
Children, cry
Ain't no war, just lies
Follow me silently
Final peace denied
Children, die
Children, cry
Ain't no war, just lies
Follow me silently
Final peace denied
Children, die
Children, cry
Ain't no war, just lies
Follow me silently
Final peace denied
Children, die
Children, cry
Ain't no war, just lies
Follow me silently
Final peace denied

Behemoth

Out from below, like a flood the evil shadows flow
Earthquakes began as the monster walked onto dry land
I can see away
I could walk away
I could drift away
I could die today
Cloaked by a shield, only to my eyes is it revealed
Come just for me, come to kill me oh so silently
I can see away
I could walk away
I could drift away
I could die today
Born of the flame, in the end just it and I remain
Formless and free, chasing phantoms floating randomly
I can see away
I could walk away
I could drift away
I could die today
Pushed down below like a flood the searing venom flows
Rainbow of gray, it pursues me to my dying day
I can see away
I could walk away
I could drift away
I could die today

Passing Friend
03:06
|
|||
I saw a friend just yesterday and he saw me and walked away
Could I have changed so much since then
But now I can't remember when
It takes me back to see his face, then right back here where I'm erased
Is this the way it's going to be
Would there be anything that's worth this to me
Every cold wind I have ever felt before
Everything I've lost for that "something more"
Every "this is worth the price" I've said til I believe again
Called to question when I feel the silence of my passing friend
Connections lost for something else, at least that's what I've told myself
Is there a day coming when I will wish I hadn't aimed so high
Something at least that I could show to convince myself the cost was low
Cuz for now all I see is the end of what had once accepted me
Every cold wind I have ever felt before
Everything I've lost for that "something more"
An absence for a time and now I'm stranger bound
But if that's all it took, was that ever a friend I found?

Obelisk
06:11
|
|||
Paragon break of dawn
Free and clear, gods so near
I can climb so high
Penetrate the sky
Taking any risk
I am the obelisk
Seeing all
Up I fall
See all ways
Seen all days
I can climb so high
Penetrate the sky
Taking any risk
I am the obelisk
Wind and I call our cry
Land of one
Equals, none
I can climb so high
Penetrate the sky
Taking any risk
I am the obelisk
Paragon break of dawn
Land of one
Equals, none
I can climb so high
Penetrate the sky
Take any risk
I am the obelisk
I am the obelisk
I can climb so high
Penetrate the sky
Taking any risk
I am the obelisk

Mutiny
04:16
|
|||
The rudder turned but by someone else's hand
The crew looked around, not sure what had gone down
Only the first mate did truly understand
And the second mate, but he was gagged and bound
In the hold beneath the deck where no one was sure to check
Vicious rumors were elect of the mate's lack of respect
Young Jones up in the crow's nest kept his view upon the sea
When Old Jim Bones told him "Come on down, boy
Go below deck and bring up us some whiskey"
What he saw was quite a shock
The second mate stuffed in a box
The other's body cold as rock
The hold door slammed and then was locked
And Old Jim Bones in the sunlight making sure he had a clear shot
Fired his pistol into the back of Smithy
Smithy fell over, dead on the spot
And the mutiny carried on til the final outsider was gone
But unknown to them there was one who was not so easily done
Jim Bones, the first mate and the cook
Their fate was set by Eagle Eye
They never saw that it was comin
Left on an island for to die
And this also sealed his own fate
But now it was too late
He couldn't go back home at any rate
It'd look like he'd have done what they'd
So he cast the sails westward to uncharted lands that way
Ravens were flyin round the spires that came out the water grey
He walked over to the bow, saw this omen, thought "What now"
But that was all his mind allowed
There was no turnin back anyhow
And the wind blows all around him as the sails go flowin by
He will go where the sea takes him
And he'll keep goin til he die
Sailin further from his home
Ever more to roam
Yet even the sea turns to foam
His journey ends here alone alone alone alone alone

Find the words to lie to me, I'll find a way to go
Down in an illusion all but you and I would know
There is only so much time I've got to waste away
Wasted seven months so what's it matter one more day
When will I have my fill and when will I return
There's no way this makes any sense
All of this time to kill and all this youth to burn
Bet there's regrets after the end
To be at such a place and know just what I've got to lose
And just keep going forward keeping myself in the ruse
There's no way that I'll look back at this time with any joy
Here's to another cycle where I watch myself destroy
When will I have my fill and when will I return
There's no way this makes any sense
All of this time to kill and all this youth to burn
Bet there's regrets after the end
Bet there's regrets after the end (in reach if only you would dare)

Double Loss
02:30
|

Pain in passion
Flaming wire
Pain in passion
Gone on fire
Sudden terror rips apart
Pain in passion
Bleed your heart
Gone to lengths they never thought they'd go
Gone to lengths they never thought they'd go
Extra lengths they never thought they'd know
It is lost, it's lost, it is lost, it's lost
Double loss, double loss, double loss, double loss

Horizon

Have you ever wondered when life begins
If left is wrong and good is sin
Whose point of view is right today
And if your youth just gets in the way
Can you really tell the way that it should be
Can you really know what's right for you is right for me
Does a rising sun seem like it sets
And do you deserve everything you get
Are you just waiting for a sign
Or is it planned and you just put it all on the line
Can you really tell the way that it should be
Can you really know what's right for you is right for me
Are you there waiting in the sun
Knowing what you want awaiting it to come
Are you living for the day
Or does your youth stand in your way
Can you really tell the way that it should be
Can you really know what's right for you is right for me
So much standing by at stake
Ever thought that promises could break
Everything you ever knew
Who knows if any of it's true

Far Away
03:36
|
|||
If I don't get up from this fall
It's not for wanting to refuse
Meanwhile you are so so far away, so far away
So nothing mattered after all
Could be it's something I could use
Could be we've spent a while so far away, so far away
Maybe stay far away
Maybe stay far away, so far away, so far away
